What's included in a Standard ticket?
A Standard ticket gives you 5-hour access to Balance Festival either in the morning or afternoon, depending on which session you choose. While inside Balance Festival you can attend workshops, talks, cooking demonstrations and explore 200+ food, fitness, wellness and travel feature stands and experiences. You'll also have access to sign up to workouts from our partner studios. Workouts start at £6 and can be purchased online via the booking system.
What's included in a VIP ticket?
A VIP ticket gives you full-day
access to Balance Festival as well as a number of other benefits including fast track entry, a limited edition T-shirt, access to the VIP hospitality suite where you can enjoy complimentary food and drink, plus a tote bag full of goodies. You'll also have access to sign up to workouts from our partner studios. Workouts start at £6 and can be purchased online via the booking system.
What's the difference between an Industry and Consumer ticket?
Balance Festival is highly experiential consumer festival. However, on Friday 12th May from 10am till 4pm, the festival will offer industry-focused talks, workshops and experiences, as well as The Health & Wellness Summit.
Our first Consumer session will begin on Friday 12th May from 5pm-10pm, and will continue on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th with the early session running from 10am-3pm, and the late session running from 2pm-7pm.
The Balance fitness programme will run across the whole three-day festival.
I’m not a member of the trade. Can I still come on the Friday Industry day?
The Friday Industry session is open to all, but please note some of the event will be geared towards trade rather than consumers.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Yes, you can providing the event is not sold out. Standard tickets will be £35 on the door and VIP tickets will be £65.
Can I book more workouts at a later stage if I’ve already bought a ticket?
Yes, you can log-in and manage your booking at any time to add workouts to your schedule.
Can I book tickets and workouts for my friends?
Yes, you can buy tickets and book workouts for up to 6 people at a time.
Can I come to Balance if I’m under 16 years old?
Most definitely, although we ask that anyone under the age of 16 is accompanied by an adult.
What is on offer in The Lab and Live Cooking Theatre?
Inspiring and informative talks, in-depth panel discussions, live cooking demonstrations and workshops, all run by key influencers from the fitness and wellness industries, including Zanna Van Dijk, Dale Pinnock, Julie Montagu and Rhiannon Lambert.
Do I have to book tickets for The Lab programme and Live Cooking Theatre?
No, you can simply come along as these will be open to all and available on a first come, first served basis.
Where can I find a schedule and event guide?
A full schedule and event guide will be released closer to the event date.
What is Balance's Collision-Style workout?
Our Collision-Style workout involves two instructors from different disciplines delivering a cutting edge, full-length workout to 200 people accompanied by a live DJ. Prepare for a workout experience like never before.
What is the Urban Tri?
Launching on Saturday 13th May as part of Balance Festival, the Urban Triathlon will kick-off from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and finish at The Old Truman Brewery.
Places are strictly limited to 1,000 and participants will take part in a 25 minute HIIT workout, followed by a 6k run and a 30-minute cool down yoga session. All profits will be donated to Project Waterfall
– a charitable initiative supporting clean drinking water projects in deprived communities in Africa.
Will there be showers and changing rooms?
There will be no showers at the event, however there will be changing rooms and full body wipes will be provided after all workouts.
Where will the event be held and how do I get there?
Balance Festival will be held at The Old Truman Brewery. The Old Truman Brewery is easily reached by tube, rail, bus or on foot.
The entrance can be found at 15 Hanbury Street, the Old Truman Brewery, London E1 6QR.

How can I apply to be an exhibitor?

Is the site wheelchair-accessible?
The facility does have elevators to access the first floor, however (not all levels) the top floor workout space cannot be reached by elevator. Should you require disabled access, please inform a member of our front of house team.
Can I bring food/drink?
Balance Festival will attract some of the best food and drink vendors across the wellness industry who will be giving out samples, plus there will be plenty of meals available to purchase on site. It’s not a BYO festival, so you're not able to bring food and drink in with you.
Will there be photography/filming?
Yes. All official photographers and film crew will have identification.
Photography, video, audio recording and children
The safeguarding of children is our first priority when using recorded content. We adhere closely to the NSPCC’s guidelines on the use of images and video online, taking special care to protect a child’s privacy and never identify children by name unless we have specific permission to do so.
Public photography and video filming
We're sure you will understand that we wish to protect the integrity of the festival and exhibitors. If you're going to take pictures or film with a video camera or a mobile phone camera you need to follow some common sense rules. In essence you are free to record your own visit to the festival for your own personal home use. You will not be able to sell any photos or moving images of the festival for commercial or other gain. Please respect the privacy of other festival attendees who may not want to be filmed. Please don't bring any professional equipment with you and please be aware of health and safety issues.
Will there be a cloakroom?
There will not be a cloakroom, therefore make sure you look after any items that you bring into the venue, it's your responsibility; the organisers and venue management team cannot take responsibility for loss or theft.
Will there be lockers?
There will not be lockable lockers in the changing rooms, but a dedicated shelving unit will be at your disposal in each of the fitness studios where you can leave your personal belongings whilst taking part in a workout. Please note the organisers, partner studios and venue management team cannot take responsibility for loss or theft.
What about security?
For your safety every festival zone will have a dedicated Security Guard. If you see any problems or incidents, please report them to security staff or the police.
